About Us

Signs often go unnoticed until we become more aware of them, especially when we become involved in their creation. Suddenly, they become the focal point of our attention.

Personally, I have always been fascinated by the presence and visibility of signs. After selling my initial signage company, I took a much-needed break and embarked on a journey to Japan. Little did I know that this trip would have a profound impact on me and shape the business I aspired to build.

The name "Minoh" draws its inspiration from a statue and its accompanying story. The name originates from Minoo or Mino Falls, located near Osaka, Japan. The waterfall's name derives from its resemblance to the act of winnowing, an ancient agricultural method of separating grains from husks (referred to as "mino" in Japanese, which also means "winnow basket").

At the foot of this magnificent waterfall stands a statue depicting a young man carrying his mother on his back as they descend the mountain. This imagery resonates deeply with me as it symbolizes the essence of Minoh. It represents the notion of supporting our loved ones and progressing through life, much like the reciprocal care and guidance a mother provides to her child.

In essence, Minoh encapsulates the spirit of resilience, interdependence, and moving forward in the world, guided by the love and support of those dear to us.
